FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES
The Faculty began its academic activities in the 1995–1996 academic year with an initial enrollment of 52 students in the Department of Business Administration. Today (as of the 2025–2026 academic year), it continues its academic activities with a total of 1,868 students. Since graduating its first students in the 1998–1999 academic year, the Faculty has produced a total of 3,280 graduates to date.
The academic staff of our Faculty consists of 66 members in total: 7 Professors, 19 Associate Professors, 31 Assistant Professors, 2 Lecturers, and 7 Research Assistants. The administrative staff comprises 11 members in total: 1 Faculty Secretary, 1 Dean's Secretary, 1 Departments Secretary, 1 Chief Financial Affairs Officer, 2 Student Affairs Officers, 1 Printing and Photocopying Officer, 1 Technical Staff member, and 4 Support Staff members.
Until 2007, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Bozok University drew academic support from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences operating at Erciyes University's Kayseri Campus in order to maintain a high standard of education. With the establishment of Bozok University in 2006, the Faculty strengthened its own academic staff and has since continued its education and training activities as a self-sufficient institution, pursuing the same academic goals.
Student admissions began in the Department of Economics in 2008; in the Departments of Public Finance, Health Management, and Political Science and Public Administration in 2016; in the Department of International Relations in 2018; and in the Department of Finance and Banking in 2024.
The Faculty has two computer laboratories, each with a capacity of 40 students, where computer-assisted courses can be conducted.
Transportation to the campus is provided by public buses and private vehicles.
Students' accommodation needs are met through dormitories operated by the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) as well as private dormitory facilities.
The campus offers football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts where students can engage in sports activities. The student cafeteria on campus is equipped to meet a wide range of student needs.
Alongside its core mission of education and training, the Faculty aims to provide democratic and participatory education in line with the principles and reforms of Atatürk. In this spirit, our students—educated in accordance with the requirements of the information society—carry a well-deserved pride in representing our Faculty in every field.
The Faculty conducts its educational activities in a facility with a total indoor area of 15,600 m², comprising the original 6,140 m² faculty building constructed in 2003 by businessman Mr. Erdoğan AKDAĞ, and an additional 9,500 m² annex building, which became operational at the beginning of the spring semester of the 2012–2013 academic year.
