YOZGAT BOZOK UNIVERSITY
FACULTY OF ECONOMIC AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES

In the 1995–1996 academic year, the Faculty began its educational activities by enrolling 52 students in the Department of Business Administration, and today (as of the 2023–2024 Academic Year) it continues its academic operations with a total of 1,875 students. Approximately 3,014 students have graduated from our faculty since it awarded its first degrees in the 1998–1999 academic year.

Our academic staff comprises 4 Professors, 14 Associate Professors, 38 Doctoral Faculty Members, 2 Instructors, and 6 Research Assistants, totaling 64 academic personnel. The administrative team consists of 1 Faculty Secretary, 1 Dean’s Secretary, 1 Department Secretary, 1 Chief Financial Officer, 2 Student Affairs Officers, 1 Print and Photocopy Operations Officer, 1 Technical Staff Member, and 3 Support Staff Members, making a total of 11 administrative personnel.

Until 2007, the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of Bozok University endeavored to provide high-quality education with teaching staff support from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences operating at the Kayseri Campus of Erciyes University. Following the establishment of Bozok University in 2006, the faculty strengthened its teaching staff and has since continued its educational mission in a self-sufficient structure with the same objectives.

Since 2008, the Department of Economics has been admitting students; since 2016, the Departments of Finance, Health Management, and Political Science and Public Administration have also welcomed students; since 2018, the Department of International Relations has been in operation; and as of 2024, the Department of Finance and Banking will admit its first cohort.

Our faculty is equipped with two computer laboratories—each with a capacity for 40 students for computer-aided instruction—and a foreign language laboratory that can accommodate 20 students.

The campus is accessible via public buses and private transportation, and the accommodation needs of our students are met by dormitories provided by the Credit and Dormitories Institution as well as private organizations.

Within the campus, there are football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts available for sports activities. Additionally, the student canteen is well-equipped to meet all the needs of our students.

In addition to its primary mission of education, our faculty is committed to a democratic and participatory teaching approach in line with Atatürk’s Principles and Reforms. In this spirit, our students—trained to meet the demands of an information society—take great pride in representing our faculty in every field.

Our educational activities are conducted in a total enclosed area of 15,600 m². This includes the main faculty building, constructed in 2003 on the initiative of Businessman Mr. Erdoğan AKDAĞ and covering 6,140 m², as well as two additional buildings (totaling 9,500 m²) that were put into service at the beginning of the spring semester of the 2012–2013 academic year.
